The European Union might “respond swiftly and decisively” in response to what it calls “unwarranted” travel bans imposed by the United States against five European individuals working on combating online hate and misinformation, an EU official stated.

European Leaders Decry US Action as ‘Coercion’

European leaders including Emmanuel Macron charged Washington of “bullying and threats”, following the visa restrictions were placed on individuals who have been at the heart of campaigns to introduce legislation regulating American tech companies.
